Mental Health

Prevent mental health challenges such as poor wellbeing, stress, anxiety, and depression

Mental health challenges – including poor wellbeing, stress, anxiety, and depression – carry a high cost. This is true both on a personal level for those affected, and in terms of the financial impact on society and organisations dealing with sickness absence or employees who may ultimately drop out of the workforce entirely.

That is why it is a good idea to prevent and address mental health challenges early on and try to prevent dissatisfaction, which can potentially lead to sick leave. The workplace has a significant influence and shared responsibility when it comes to fostering a culture that prioritises mental health.

Strengthen mental health in your organisation

At Human House, we can support your organisation in creating or maintaining strong mental health. Whether you are looking for a wellbeing or health policy, want to examine if your workplace has healthy collaboration and a positive psychological working environment, or need support with an employee struggling with stress or poor wellbeing, we are here to help. We also offer guidance if you want to know whether your workplace culture is sufficiently preventative regarding mental health challenges, or if you would like to equip your safety and health organisation, managers, and employees with effective methods to promote mental health.

Get practical tools to ensure mental health

Many organisations have the best intentions when it comes to promoting mental health, but it can be difficult to know where to start in practice. Everyone is busy, and other daily tasks take up valuable time and attention. As a result, you may not notice poor wellbeing until a colleague or employee goes home suffering from stress.

We offer a wide range of project ideas and tools, enabling us to co-design a process suited to your organisation. Perhaps you wish to start with leadership development, launch initiatives for all employees, or – often best of all – work on both in parallel.

There are numerous ways to take an active approach to improving mental health, and we always base our consultancy on the latest research and experiences from other organisations.

You can find inspiration in our mental health project about communities promoting mental health (in Danish: Fællesskaber skaber mental sundhed), supported by the Velliv Association. You are also welcome to explore our toolbox for the project “Men-TAL om det” (in Danish).
